Question: Do you have access to any jazz fake books?
Specifically I am looking for “The Good Book” in any key. Let me know which key you have and (if you can) contact information that I might get in-touch with you over myspace or facebook or an e-mail… whatever you prefer. It is rare so ask all your music friends too!

Dude go to Barnes and Noble or Guitar Center and pick up a fake book. I have American standards and it’s probably got 200 plus songs.

Hi Lucy.
I thought you might have known how to do this, but if you don’t you can jump though the Monitor and kiss me later.
Hit Google and type “Lullaby of birdland”. Scroll down about 3/4 and there is the Score. If you haven’t got a printer grab a pencil and just copy it. Cheers.

This series of short piano lessons is based on the techniques I used to teach one of my sons how to play “Star Wars” by John Williams. Don’t worry if you’ve never had piano lessons before, or if you’ve never read a note of music – I’m going to try to design these lessons to be easy to follow and fun to play! Even though this is a challenging version of the classic Sci Fi movie theme, I’m hoping that by breaking things down, everyone can discover the joys of reading music. In this course, Greg has documented the step-by-step chording process while Glen shows real applications of the technique described in this course.
