CONTINUE READING, SHEET MUSIC TO BE FOUND BELOW. Based on the movie version. I know it’s not perfect. I don’t care if you think I’m playing too fast. Sheet music can be found here: pelli.webng.com To all of you guys asking for a tutorial: This, together with the sheet music, IS the tutorial. You see and read which keys should be pressed and you hear roughly how it is supposed to sound. You don’t have to understand all symbols in the sheet music, just find which keys to press (which in my opinion any decent pianist should know how to do) and ignore the rest. If you need to have a piano piece zoomed-in and narrated in slow motion to learn it, you’re just not ready yet. /pellishau 2008-07-01

www.andrewwasson.com Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio answers questions from off of his Guitar Blog website… Q #1). I’ve recently started teaching guitar. Do you have any advice for new teachers on how to give a good learning curve to students, and any tips because I’m new at this. Greetings from Argentina. A: Definitely establish a curriculum and have hand-outs that you can supply. This will establish the best learning experience. And, a good tip is to advertise your services. Q #2). I am trying to practice improvising over chords in jazz standards and trying to keep an awareness of the chord tones of each chord as they rapidly pass by. Do you think am better off thinking of the degrees of the arpeggio or the actual notes? There seems to be benefits to visualizing all the notes at a finger position on the neck. However sometimes it seems easier to just find the F and then visualize where the 5, b3, and b7 are in relation. The note letter approach seems to make it easier to change positions on the neck. The arpeggio degree approach is easier because the same pattern can be used for 12 different chords.Which approach do you think would benefit me more? Mike Aliso Viejo, Ca. A: When I solo over changes I tend to mostly use intervals and I see the degrees of thirds or sevenths primarily. Notes play a role, however it is to a lesser extent than the intervals and geometrical shapes off of the chords. Q #3). I know my neck, but I don’t know how to name what I’m doing. I …

My free online lessons are made with love and don’t cost you a dime so please, let me know you appreciate what I do by leaving a comment, favoriting, sharing, and subscribing. This was the first song I ever taught myself how to play by ear. I kind of stumbled onto it while I was messing around and basically got lucky to hit most of the right notes. From then on, learning songs by ear got easier and easier for some reason. Because of this, this song has a special place in my heart and I wanted to share it with you. If you have ever wanted to know how to play “Let It Be”, I hope you will take the time to learn this great song. Let It Be Lyrics: When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer, let it be. For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer. let it be. Let …
