Question: Can someone help me with my MySpace profile here?
Okay, there’s a few things… Well, I added a new layout, and I love it, but it hides my music player, which is annoying, especially if you’re listening to something else and you can’t pause my song when you go on my page.
And it also hides headers, like, “Movies”, “Television”, “Books” etc.
And also, every time I put a picture as my headline, it always has two little period after it, like so; ..
Is there anyway to get rid of that, or is that just unavoidable?

On second thought, I’m not worried about the headers; I think it looks fine as is.
But it also hides my “details” box below my interests, on the left-hand side. How do I get that to show up?

Haha, I feel like an idiot about the dot thing. I just deleted it and, obviously, they went away.
I didn’t bother doing that before, though, because every time I do they always seem to come back! But thankfully, they didn’t, this time. :]

ok this is more then one question but these all relate to the same thing..just need the codes for myspace 2 on how to do certain things:
how do you get codes for the following modules in myspace 2:
“General” / “music” / “about me” / “who i’d like to meet” / “movies” / “television” / “books” / “heroes”
and also the codes to change your font color, font style / size
also the code to have ur “URL” placed in a separate box where you can place anywhere on your profile..
here are 2 profile examples of these being done:

this bottom profile she has photos and youtube videos in the following modules: “television” / books / hereos / how to do it?
also she has a link to her “mood status” as well as a separate box for “blogs”..how do you get these separate boxs?
and the first profile link she has a “popout player” on her page but we were not able to get the popout player app added on our profile .. when its added it just shows a “link” and no photo of the player
any help would be great! sorry so many questions but just need to myspace 2 codes for all of these…

the example profiles you gave are profile 1.0
its possible in 2.0 just a lot of work
why don’t you just switch back to profile 1.0?
even though profiles made after April 2nd can not
here is a work-a-round
Post a new blog with any Subject and Body
Now click ‘Customize Profile’ from the drop
down list when you hover over ‘Profile’
Then click ‘Go Back’ in the top right
like you normally would, but now you
have the option to Switch to Profile 1.0
you may have to post several blogs for this to work

How come everything I write under the “General”, “Music”, “Movies”, “Television”, “Books”, “Heroes” sections, turn into links when you hover your mouse over them? Does anyone know how I can make them regular texts instead of links? Plz help me. Thx

You just don’t type in them
If that doesn’t work, use this “hide sections” generator.

Just use the demonstration profile, and click on the sections you want to hide.

Well, on your myspace you know how you have the interests section and it says “general” “music” “movies” “books” “Heroes” and stuff? Well is there a code that will let you change those names so if you wanted to change the thing that said “heroes” to like… “my people” (that was random) or something, could you?

well I’m pretty sure you can but you need to know how to make layouts and stuff..instead of doing that though you can use a DIV overlay layout..use this website:: http://www.createblog.com/layouts/index.php?layout=myspace_layouts&type=div_overlay&page=1

but instead of it being short like that, it’s a little longer and bigger. but you can actually type information beside your default picture AND below your default picture.. and there isnt a comment box, but like, you have contact BUTTONS. am I sounding crazy or do you people actually know what I’m saying? lol. does anyone know where I can either make, or get one of these?
..it isnt your regular default myspace layout.
there isn’t specific sections.
ex. it doesnt say “about me” or “music” or “books”. nothing. you write whatever you want where you want it.

I have no clue what your talking about due to the fact that your link dosent work. Im guessing your talking about a DIV layout which isnt common for myspace users unless your a business.

You Carn’t, but you can just metion people in it anyway people do.
You can add other boxes like Friends. Search mygen, pimp my profile or freecodesource, they show you how to do it.

On myspace, you know where the general thing is. Where it says books, music, heroes.
How do I change it so instead of “books” it could say “family” or something.
